“Make a Difference” by Donating directly to your PTA!
This year , the HCMS PTA is holding a NEW fall fundraiser in place of the traditional Cookie Dough Sale and it will be your primary opportunity to support PTA sponsored programs for the 2011-2012 school year. In past years, tubs of cookie dough sold for $15. Harper’s Choice PTA only received $5! The cookie dough company made 70% of the total profit! You and your children did all the work for just 30% profit. So this year we are holding a DIRECT DONATION APPEAL, where 100% of all money raised will go directly to your school programs.
Our goal is to raise a minimum of $10,000 through this DIRECT DONATION APPEAL. If each family contributes just $30 (the cost of two tubs of cookie dough), 100% of your donation benefits the school, and we would easily meet our goal. The direct donations, if successful, would allow us to consider funding new programs such as robotics and film making. Please consider this worthwhile campaign.
We are a 501(c) (3) non profit organization, 100% of our donation may be tax deductible. Simply click here to print and complete the form and have your child return it to school to the homeroom teacher, before Friday, September 30 or donate on-line directly by clicking the Donate Now button.
SAFEWAY eSCRIP
Sign up for a Safeway card or re-designate HCMS as your selected school for our PTA to receive credit for your purchases. eScrip is a great way to support HCMS by just signing up once with your Safeway card and going through the eScrip website when you make secure purchases online. There are 3 ways you can sign up. Our school code is #6512672.

2. Call 877-723-3929 with your card #.
3. Fill out a form and have your child bring it the his/her homeroom teacher.

We hope you have been clipping and saving all those Box Tops labels all summer. Please send the Box Tops with your student in an envelope marked with their name and homeroom teacher. There is a Box Tops collection box in the school lobby. Each student who returns an envelope with Box Tops (and their name listed) will have their name placed in a random drawing for a prize. Our winner for the March 1st drawing was 6th grader Ryan Nesset who will receive a gift card. Please keep those Box Tops coming.
INK AND TONER CATRIDGES
Please send in those empty ink and toner cartridges that are cluttering your computer area! We receive $2 for each one we receive and that is paying for all of our paper and supply expenses this year. All sizes and brands are accepted. If you have a large toner cartridge to return, please have your student drop if off at the front office and NOT try to fit it into the small opening in the ink recycling box in the lobby.
